How the NFBC import works

Import an NFBC league with the RotoHound Chrome extension from your signed-in NFBC league page, with the RotoHound Connector bookmarklet, or by uploading the roster grid the NFBC site exports. Rosters, the league’s format, and the standings come in, and the overall standings for the Main Event and the Online Championship are tracked alongside the league standings.

Trade impact in standings points

Pick the two teams and the players on each side. RotoHound applies the trade to both rosters, rebuilds each lineup, and recalculates the projected league standings. The result is the number of standings points each side gains or loses, so a trade offer becomes a concrete number instead of a gut call.

Category-by-category breakdown

Every scoring category shows its before and after. You can see which categories the trade helps, which it costs, and how the rest of the league moves around you. Points leagues get the same treatment in projected points.

What RotoHound reads from a NFBC league

NFBC’s format is read from the league: the team count, the 30-man roster (two C, 1B, 2B, SS, 3B, CI, MI, five OF, Util, nine P, seven bench, no IL), the $1,000 FAAB budget, and the twice-weekly lineup schedule, with lineups locking Monday and Friday. Projections and values are computed for that schedule and for 5x5 rotisserie with NFBC’s roster sizes, which is why the NFBC rankings page differs from the Yahoo one.

Frequently asked questions

Does RotoHound model the NFBC lineup schedule?

Yes. Lineups lock twice a week in the NFBC, Monday and Friday, and RotoHound projects your lineup on that schedule rather than daily or weekly.

Is there an ADP source for NFBC drafts?

Upload an NFBC ADP export and it appears beside every player’s value in the Draft Assistant. Several ADP files can be stored, with one set as the default.

How does RotoHound score a trade?

It applies the trade to both rosters, rebuilds each team’s lineup, projects every team’s rest-of-season stats, and recalculates the league standings. The score is the change in projected standings points for each side, using your league’s exact categories or point values.

Does it work for points leagues and head-to-head?

Yes. RotoHound models rotisserie and head-to-head leagues, category and points scoring, and custom formats, including platform presets for Yahoo, ESPN, CBS, and FanGraphs points.

Where do the projections come from?

RotoHound publishes its own rest-of-season projections, updated daily. You can also upload projections from FanGraphs or any other source, and every tool uses whichever system you set as your default. The methodology page explains how the built-in projections are made and how they benchmark against Steamer and ZiPS. Read the methodology

Is RotoHound free?

Yes. RotoHound is free for the 2026 season with a free account.
