Add and drop, scored together
Pick a free agent and the player you would drop. RotoHound rebuilds your lineup with the move applied and shows the change in your projected standings points. A pickup that looks good on raw stats can still cost you points once the drop and your lineup are accounted for; this catches that before the move is made.
Standings impact before you commit
The before and after standings sit side by side, per category. You can see which categories the move improves, how close you are to gaining a point in each, and whether the pickup actually moves your place in the league.

Does it account for the player I drop?
Yes. The add and the drop are scored as one move: RotoHound rebuilds your lineup with both applied and reports the net change in projected standings points.
How does it know which categories I need?
It recalculates your league’s projected standings with the move applied, so the score reflects your actual position in each category race rather than generic player rankings.

Where do the projections come from?
RotoHound publishes its own rest-of-season projections, updated daily. You can also upload projections from FanGraphs or any other source, and every tool uses whichever system you set as your default.
